Red Bull looked to DC to develop an experiential piece for the college crowd that embodies their primary marketing strategy: position Red Bull as a product that promotes self-discovery and student culture, as well as an energy drink that's ideal for those late-night cram sessions. These fake tomes were planted in campus libraries and bookstores throughout the US and Europe.
